ENVIRO-BARRIER™ STPE FLUID APPLIED VAPOR PERMEABLE AIR BARRIER

ENVIRO-BARRIER™ STPE is a moisture-curing, single-component, fluid-applied air and water-resistive barrier for above-grade wall assemblies. Its vapor-permeable, silyl-terminated polyether formulation creates a durable, seamless membrane that controls air leakage and liquid-water intrusion while allowing moisture vapor to pass through the assembly.

Applied in a single coat by spray, roller, or brush, ENVIRO-BARRIER STPE adheres to a wide range of common construction substrates, including concrete, CMU, gypsum sheathing, rigid foam insulation, plywood, OSB, steel, copper, and aluminum. The non-asphaltic membrane develops rain resistance in less than 30 minutes, withstands up to 12 months of UV exposure, remains flexible at temperatures as low as -20°F (-28.9°C), bridges substrate cracks, and self-seals around nails and other fasteners. With 99% solids, low VOC content, and no phthalates or isocyanates, it provides a high-performance solution for cavity-wall and masonry-wall systems in new construction and retrofit applications.
