Hohmann & Barnard offers a line of products for the construction of sustainable masonry structures including numerous anchor, reinforcement and flashing products that enable masonry walls to endure and perform as intended by the architect and owner. Our wire reinforcements and masonry wire ties are manufactured of steel fabricated from 99 percent post-industrial recycled material, and other products such as Mortar Trap and our Rebonded Rubber, are also fabricated either entirely or substantially from recycled materials.
We have six manufacturing facilities around the country, so the 500-mile radius stipulation for green credits is more satisfied by H&B than by any of our competitors.
Hohmann & Barnard products have been used on many well-known green projects, including the renowned Solaire at Battery Park City in New York, known as the First Green Residential High Rise in North America. Currently, H&B is supplying The Bronx Zoo Madagascar Lion House Renovation, which is the First LEED Gold NYC Landmark.
